There are thousands of guitar builders in the world. Only a handful make instruments that end up on the stages of the biggest tours, in the studios of the most recorded artists, and in the personal collections of some of the most discerning musicians alive. Paoletti Guitars is one of them. Here is why.
It starts with the wood
Every Paoletti guitar begins with aged chestnut wood, a material that Fabrizio Paoletti was the first luthier in the world to use for electric guitars. Lightweight, resonant and with a sustain that is immediately recognisable, chestnut produces a tonal character that professional musicians notice the first time they pick one up, and never forget.

Everything is made in-house
At Paoletti, there are no outsourced components, no off-the-shelf solutions. The pickups are hand-wound in our atelier in Quarrata. The hardware is designed and produced in brass, in-house, making our guitars almost entirely plastic-free. Every neck, every body, every detail is made by the same small team that has been refining this process for nearly twenty years.
This level of control over the production process is rare. It is what allows us to guarantee that every instrument that leaves our workshop sounds, feels and looks exactly as it should.
The custom shop experience
Professional musicians do not want a guitar that almost fits. They want an instrument built around them, their playing style, their sound, their aesthetic. Our custom shop offers total personalisation from the ground up: body shape, wood selection, pickup configuration, hardware finish, inlays, electronics and more. Every option is discussed directly with our team, and the result is an instrument that is as unique as the person who plays it.
This is not a form you fill in and forget. It is a conversation, and it ends with a guitar that could not have been built for anyone else.

The artists who chose Paoletti
Bruce Springsteen. Brian May. Richie Sambora. Mark Knopfler. Richard Fortus. Dave Kilminster. Dodi Battaglia. Luciano Ligabue. These are not artists who settle for anything. They chose Paoletti because the instruments perform at the level their careers demand, night after night, on the biggest stages in the world.
Richie Sambora received his first Paoletti through a fan club connection and never let it go. He played it in concert, in the studio, in front of tens of thousands of people. That guitar became one of the most documented endorsements in the brand’s history, not because of a contract, but because the instrument spoke for itself.

The collector’s dimension
A Paoletti guitar is not just a playing tool. It is an asset. Our instruments have been auctioned at Christie’s, at Julien’s Auctions, and at prestigious events in Monaco, where a single Paoletti guitar reached €110,000 at the Goodwill Ambassador Award Gala 2026, signed by Charles Leclerc and Prince Albert II.
The Marco Polo Limited Edition, a collection of just ten instruments, was entirely acquired within a year of its launch in Venice, with pieces going to collectors including Johnny Depp and Sting.
When a guitar holds its value, and grows in significance over time, it means something was built right.

Made in Italy. Made to last.
There is a reason the phrase Made in Italy still carries weight in every premium market in the world. It represents a standard of craftsmanship, a commitment to materials, and a relationship with beauty that is difficult to replicate elsewhere. At Paoletti, that standard is not a marketing claim. It is the daily reality of a small team in Tuscany who believe that the best way to make something exceptional is to make it yourself, with the best materials you can find, in a place you know and love.
If you are ready to experience that for yourself, our custom shop is open.
