Where Our Story Began

Long before Paoletti Guitars became known around the world, there was a cellar in Tuscany. Inside it, chestnut barrels had aged wine for generations. Fabrizio Paoletti decided to give that wood a second life — shaping it into guitars that carried both history and music.

The very first Wine guitar went to Italian guitarist Maurizio Solieri, who brought its voice to stadiums across the country.

Every detail of that guitar had a story — from its chestnut wood, sourced from the Paoletti family’s own barrels, to the hand-cut pickguard engraved with a grapevine motif, and the mechanics shaped from Fabrizio’s grandfather’s shotgun shells and deer antler.

Soon after, Richie Sambora placed his trust in Fabrizio, showing the world that chestnut wood had a sound of its own: warm, powerful, unmistakable. That moment marked the true beginning of Paoletti Guitars.

Now, we return to those origins. The Wine Barrel XV Anniversary Limited Edition is built to honor the first Wine guitars, the roots of Paoletti Guitars. Each instrument will be made in extremely limited numbers, individually signed and numbered by Fabrizio himself, and accompanied by a dedicated book and certificate.

This is not just another guitar. It is the continuation of the story that started everything and a must-have in your beloved Paoletti collection.
