Tuscan handmade guitars at the heart of the Lounge Area Guitar Experience, with three instruments connected to some of the biggest names in international rock
Florence, 15 June 2026 – Paoletti brought its artisan craftsmanship to the Hard Rock Cafe Florence on the occasion of the venue’s double anniversary, celebrated yesterday on 14 June: 55 years since the first opening in London and 15 years since the opening in Piazza della Repubblica.
A special day for Hard Rock Cafe, which since its founding in London in 1971, under the motto “Love All – Serve All”, has made the meeting of music, rock memorabilia and hospitality its defining identity. Over fifteen years, the Cafe in Piazza della Repubblica has become a landmark for live music in Florence, through concerts, events and solidarity initiatives. A setting that made Paoletti’s presence all the more meaningful.
Throughout the day, from 10am to 4pm, the Lounge Area hosted the Guitar Experience curated by Paoletti, a Tuscan company that handbuilds its guitars using chestnut wood. A brand expert guided visitors and enthusiasts through the secrets of these instruments, sharing the different stages of an entirely handcrafted process and the attention to detail that defines every model.
At the centre of the display, three guitars of strong symbolic value: the two exclusive Signature models dedicated to Richie Sambora and Richard Fortus, and the extraordinary signed guitar of Dave Kilminster, created specifically for the Roger Waters tour. Instruments that bear witness to the bond between Paoletti’s craftsmanship and the great names of the international rock scene.
