Paoletti is proud to present the new 500J, the first Paoletti instrument specifically crafted for jazz guitarists.

Designed and tested in collaboration with professional jazz guitarist and educator Carmelo Tartamella, this model represents the ultimate evolution of the classic Archtop.

The First Semi-Acoustic Body for Warm, Expansive Tone
The first model of its kind is the new 500J H, equipped with our signature mature chestnut wood body, truly coming alive beneath a natural finish, which beautifully showcases the depth of its grain while delivering exceptional sustain across the entire tonal spectrum.

Building on the Lounge series’ DNA, the 500J features a slightly wider, fully hollow body — measuring 60 mm (2.36″) deep, with a 400 mm (15.74″) lower bout and a 285 mm (11.22″) upper bout. The result is an enveloping, warm sound with a unique personality, that invites extended improvisation, all in a lightweight, balanced package that’s comfortable to hold and play.
Premium Neck & Components
This semi-acoustic model features a set-in Canadian roasted maple neck for exceptional resonance and stability, paired with a choice of smooth, responsive fretboard — ebony was chosen for this piece — and finished with a brass tailpiece that combines durability with elegant visual appeal.

Our in-house, handmade pickups are wired with premium components and each is wax-potted to preserve tonal integrity and eliminate unwanted interference. For this model, Fabrizio Paoletti selected the iconic Jazz II 8.5 K Alnico 5 humbucker — delivering the signature Paoletti clarity and warmth.
A Milestone in Paoletti History

More than just a guitar, the 500J Lounge H – 000 Natural is new milestone in Paoletti’s journey, meticulously crafted to give jazz musicians an instrument that stands out in any club or concert hall — and promises a lifetime of inspiring performance.
