Saul Davies | Paoletti Guitars

Saul Davies

Saul Davies, a cornerstone of the band James since 1989, gained recognition for his exceptional musical prowess, transitioning from a stop-gap violinist to a versatile contributor on guitar and percussion. His significant impact on the band’s 1990 breakthrough album “Gold Mother” marked the beginning of a creative journey that flourished in the 1999 release “Millionaires.” Praised by bassist Jim Glennie for his outstanding contributions, Davies briefly departed in 2002 but returned in 2007, actively shaping the band’s reformation and subsequent album releases.

Notably, Davies has chosen a Paoletti Guitars instrument, a testament to his discerning taste and our pride in providing a custom shop guitar for such an accomplished artist.
