Kyle Gass
Kyle Richard Gass, born on July 14th 1960 in Castro Valley – California, is a multifaceted American artist, recognized for co-founding the Grammy-winning comedy band Tenacious D. Beyond music. Gass has showcased his talents in acting, comedy, and even claimed to be the youngest graduate of Juilliard School of Music during a memorable Late Night with Conan O’Brien appearance. With a rich career spanning film, television, and music, Gass continues to captivate audiences, whether through his roles in Jack Black’s films or hosting the Did We Do It podcast.
At the 2024 NAMM Show, Kyle Gass, alongside bandmates John Konesky and Mike Bray, unveiled a Detective-themed guitar crafted by Paoletti Guitars. Embracing a comic book-inspired design, his a one-of-a-kind white Nancy Lounge model features the band members as famous detectives, with Gass as Dick Tracy.
