Born and raised in the Netherlands, Ieme started playing guitar at the age of 8 after watching the Tribute To Freddie Mercury.
Ieme is well known in the guitar community for his knowledge about gear and tone.

In the summer of 2020 Ieme was talking to Richard Fortus about his signature Paoletti Guitar. He found out that he actually was spending his holiday in Italy quite close to the Paoletti factory. Ieme got in touch with the Paoletti Artist Manager and was invited to visit the factory.
After meeting mister Paoletti and his team Ieme was impressed by their philosophy and craftsmanship, a new relationship was born.
