JOHN TERRY NORUM was born on February 23rd 1964 in Vardø, at the extreme northeast corner of Norway, on the Barents Sea only 40 miles from the Russian border, near the entrance to the Varangerfjord. Aged 1, his family moved to Sweden and he grew up in Upplands Väsby, a Stockholm’s suburb.
In an age where musicians are often easily described and defined, Richard Fortus stands apart by blending his depth of musical experience with his enthusiasm for performing. Richard is well known in the music industry for being perfect for both live music and recording situations, and has shown to be incredible versatile while performing and recording with all styles of artists. From TV commercials and show themes to movie soundtracks and video games, Richard has always found a way to bring a perfect sound to all his projects.
Born and raised in St. Louis, Richard got started with music very early by studying Violin at age 4 and drums at age 5. He studied at the Conservatory of the Arts in St. Louis and Southern Illinois University and also played wth various youth symphonies in St. Louis.
Richard formed "The Eyes" as his first band in 1984, releasing the single "Freedom in a Cage" while developing a cult following in the Midwest. In 1990, the band changed their name to Pale Divine and signed with Atlantic Records, releasing "Straight to Goodbye" in 1991.
Pale Divine toured supporting the Psychedelic Furs, beginning a long standing relationship between Richard Fortus and Furs' singer Richard Butler. In 1992, Richard joined the Furs on tour again, this time as member. Richard Butler and Rich formed a band on their own, called Love Spit Love. Their eponymous album was released in 1994 on Imago/RCA Records. Richard Fortus co-wrote and co-produced Trysome Eatsome for the bands second album release, on Maverick Records. Richard Butler and Rich continue to work together to this day.
In the late 90s Richard began a collaboration with Composer / Artist BT. They have recorded film scores, records, and also toured together in 2000. Around this time Richard was becoming one of the most in-demand first-call session musicians in New York City. He also because a partner in the music production company Compound, where he's provided music for TV commercials and show themes, movie trailers, video games, industrial films, and more. Around this time, Richard worked with photographer Michael Halsband and provided the soundtrack to the film "Surf Movie." A follow up to the well-received film is in the works, and Richard will again be providing the soundtrack.
In 2001, Richard joined legendary hard rock band Guns N' Roses and began touring with the band and recording for the bands long awaited "Chinese Democracy" record. The album was released to great anticipation in 2008 and Richard has continued to tour with the band in support of the record. They have played sold out shows on nearly every continent in front of millions upon millions fans.
During his Guns N' Roses downtime over the last 10 years, Richard has found time to always be performing and recording. From Enrique Iglesias to Rihanna to Thin Lizzy to Nena, he's played all over the world with a dizzying array of artists. He also recorded for the Repo! The Genetic Opera, Role Models, Monster, and The Fast and the Furious soundtracks. Angela McCluskey, Jesse Malin, Fiona Apple, Tommy Stinson and the Crystal Method are just a few of the artists whose albums Richard had contributed to. In 2011, Richard lived a lifelong dream, joining and performing with the legendary Thin Lizzy.
In 2013, Richard joined The Dead Daisies, a supergroup featuring Jon Stevens (INXS) and David Lowy (Mink). The band opened for ZZ Top, Aerosmith, Alice in Chains, Janes Addiction and many other top bands in 2013. The bands first headlining tour was in February 2014 in Australia and was a resounding succes, leading to opening gigs in the US for Kiss, among others. Also In 2014, the Face I Love EP was released, Richard's first studio work with the band.
Currently, Richard is on tour with Guns N' Roses.

Fourteen songs that Richards wrote with the Rolling Stones' lead vocalist Mick Jagger are listed among Rolling Stone magazine's "500 Greatest Songs of All Time". The Stones are generally known for their guitar interplay of rhythm and lead ("weaving") with Brian Jones, Mick Taylor and Ronnie Wood over the years. In spite of this, Richards plays the only guitar tracks on some of their most famous songs including "Paint It Black", "Ruby Tuesday", "Sympathy for the Devil", and "Gimme Shelter".
Saul Hudson (born July 23, 1965), known professionally as Slash, is a British and American musician and songwriter. He is best known as the lead guitarist of the American hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he achieved worldwide success in the late 1980s and early 1990s. During his later years with Guns N' Roses, Slash formed the side project Slash's Snakepit. After leaving Guns N' Roses in 1996, he co-founded the supergroup Velvet Revolver, which re-established him as a mainstream performer in the mid to late 2000s. Slash has since released three solo albums, Slash (2010), featuring an array of famous guest musicians, Apocalyptic Love (2012) and World on Fire (2014) recorded with singer/guitarist Myles Kennedy of Alter Bridge, along with rhythm section Brent Fitz and Todd Kerns, known on the album as The Conspirators. James Alan Hetfield (born August 3, 1963) is the co-founder, lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, main songwriter, and lyricist for the American heavy metal band Metallica. Hetfield is mainly known for his intricate rhythm playing, but has also performed occasional lead guitar duties both in the studio and live.
Hetfield co-founded Metallica in October 1981 after answering a classified advertisement by drummer Lars Ulrich in the Los Angeles newspaper The Recycler. Metallica has won nine Grammy Awards and released nine studio albums, three live albums, four extended plays and 24 singles.

Kirk Lee Hammett (born November 18, 1962) is the lead guitarist and songwriter for the heavy metal band Metallica and has been a member of the band since 1983. Before joining Metallica he formed and named the band Exodus. In 2003, Hammett was ranked 11th on Rolling Stone's list of The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time. In 2009, Hammett was ranked number 15 in Joel McIver's book The 100 Greatest Metal Guitarists.

Joseph Fidler "Joe" Walsh (born November 20, 1947) is an American singer, songwriter, composer, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer. In a career spanning more than 40 years, Walsh has been a member of five successful rock bands: the Eagles, James Gang, Barnstorm, The Party Boys, and Ringo Starr & His All-Starr Band. In the 1990s, he was also a member of the short-lived supergroup The Best. He has also experienced success both as a solo artist and prolific session musician, being featured on a wide array of other artists' recordings. In 2011, Rolling Stone placed Walsh at the number 54 spot on its list of "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time."
Walsh joined the Eagles in 1975 as the group's keyboardist and guitarist following the departure of their founding member Bernie Leadon, with Hotel California being his first album with the band. In 1998 Guitarist magazine selected the guitar solos on the track "Hotel California" by Walsh and Don Felder as the best guitar solos of all time, and eighth of the Top 100 Guitar Solos.
Walsh pursued a solo career and released his debut album The Smoker You Drink, the Player You Get in 1973. Mit 14 sah ich Major Heuser gemeinsam mit Wolfgang Niedecken live den Song „Do kanns zaubre“ spielen und war völlig hin und weg. Ich hatte bis dahin nur Grunge und Rockmusik gehört. Ich kaufte mir meine erste Akustik-Gitarre und nahm Unterricht. Dadurch lernte ich viele Arten von Musik kennen und lieben.

Ben Granfelt (born June 16, 1963) is a guitarist from Helsinki, Finland and best known from his work in Leningrad Cowboys, Wishbone Ash, Gringos Locos, Guitar Slingers and his solo band Ben Granfelt Band.
Granfelt's most active and recent band named Ben Granfelt Band was formed in 1993 and since then they have toured clubs and festivals in Finland, United Kingdom, Germany, United States, Austria, Switzerland and United Arab Emirates where they appeared at the Abu Dhabi and Dubai Jazz Festivals. Ben Granfelt Band’s latest album Kaleidoscope was released on Feb 4, 2009 in Finland with the rest of Europe following later that spring.
Ben Granfelt Band began working on their 11th album in February 2010 but Granfelt's family issues forced him to put both the album and the band on hiatus in June 2010. Soon after making this decision, Granfelt was asked to join Finnish Rock'n'roll sensation Los Bastardos Finlandeses by the band's lead singer Bryn Jones. Io sono diventato cantante, non me ne vogliano.
Sono nato nel 1973, precisamente il 9 Ottobre, come John Lennon con il quale ho in comune solo questa data e.. chissà.. forse lo stesso epilogo.
Da piccolino mi iscrissi ad una scuola di musica per imparare a suonare il pianoforte. Dopo 3 mesi lasciai la scuola di musica col desiderio di abitare
in una baita riscaldata da un camino alimentato dalla carcassa di un Bosendorfer gran coda. Decisi che la musica non faceva per me.
Il giorno dopo iniziai a comporre i miei primi pezzi.
Dopo aver sfornato decine di demo che torneranno utili con la mia dipartita, magari arricchiti dagli interventi di questo o quell'altro rapper che presteranno la voce ai cd postumi, arrivò il momento della prima pubblicazione. Era il 1996, mi facevo chiamare Mikimix e pubblicavo dischi della stessa qualità degli ultimi dischi pubblicati dai cantanti di qualità.
A quel tempo ero troppo ingenuo per sospettare che mi avrebbero cagato il cazzo un'intera vita con questa storia di Mikimix perciò decisi di continuare... E scusate se sputo nel piatto in cui non ho mangiato.
Dopo una serie di riflessioni emo, di momenti depressivi e di fallimenti amorosi, capìi che era arrivato il momento di seguire la strada dei miei avi: andare a lavorare. Era chiaro che la musica proprio non faceva per me.
Il giorno dopo iniziai a comporre nuovi pezzi.
Mi crebbero i capelli, il pizzetto e altro..
Ero pronto a rivelare cazzutamente il mio pensiero sulle cose, senza compromessi. Nel 1998 inizia il mio percorso come Caparezza col demo "Ricomincio da Capa". La musica è cambiata e inizio la trafila delle jam e dei concerti in pizzeria col vicinato che chiede di abbassare il volume durante l'esibizione (e non lo fa con garbo).
Siamo nel 2011 e viene pubblicato il mio quinto album in studio ("Il sogno eretico"), ho all'attivo centinaia di concerti e mi sono comprato un pianoforte.. (l'inverno è stato particolarmente duro).
Che dire.. Per me la vita di un'artista è meno interessante della sua opera ma a corollario vi lascio comunque delle informazioni utili perché la sostanza va, la forma resta..
